Launch of the Badge
The batch for the program As I Evolve Program 2024 season 25 was launched by Rtn. A Ramkumar sir by lighting the Olympic torch light which will glow all over the year until the program gets over. The special highlight of the launch is the Olympic torch used is made up of solar panels which runs by the solar energy and it does not create any flames and it makes an sustainable form of lamp without creating any type of the air pollution and also it depicts the motive of the Rotary club of Coimbatore to not only focus on leadership and also focus on the sustainability in all the factors.
Inaugural Speech
The As I Evolve 2024 Season 25 was inaugurated by the wonderful and inspiring and motivating speech of Rtn MD R S Maruti sir. The way he delivered his experience in his own club was good. Also he expressed the great work of rotary club by giving this program for free for the students which makes ourselves to be proud of being a part of this club. The inspiring story of Rtn MD R S Maruti sir and Rotary club of Coimbatore during the shortage of oxygen in the covid 19 period was inspiring us to make such things to society and also to volunteer our dedication to save lives to be the fullest of living. His own life experience of his college days and the career growth made us to think about the hard work and the smart work should be combined and then makes a best work done. Before ending his speech his topic on the distraction and fantasy world of today youngsters being spoiled was making me think of being cautious to those thing which spoil our own lives and also thought of insisting the awareness of this to my own future generations too.
Founder’s Note
Founder of the program As I Evolve by Rotary Club of Coimbatore is Rtn Dr J Balavenkat, who also committed to be a part of life savior in the terms of medical field was motivating us to be a part of those extrinsic commitments too. He was majorly focusing on the current generation youngsters who are being trapped by all the kinds of the distractive things happening around the world and it made me think that yes, it is really an overwhelming and distractive things happening around the world which spoils the career, education and also the personal and family and social life of the youngsters and the students. His words made me to process and refine my own habits and schedule of my day to day life activities to become a responsible leader and not an distractive youngster. His speech made me finalize my schedule of my daily activities to be productive and also to give a good meaning for the day by my own activities. This speech and the words put up by him made an responsible youngster to become non-distractive and also to be a good leader for those who suffer from the current newly emerged disease named ‘Smartphone Mania’.
Storytelling Session
This session was followed by Rtn Pradeep Yuvaraj sir on the topic “Art & Science of the story telling for leadership”. He made us to think as a real leader and his whole insights with his speech was only motive to make us an real leader at the end of this program. His activities like the dividing the shapes into equal area made us to think in a critical manner and alsi it made us to test our critical thinking ability also the story of his friend Mohan Kumar (imagination) who is working as scientist in ISRO. It was make us think that money is not the thing which we desire for the quality of our thinking and the character and efficient use of money is the main motive of his talk. Also he lead us all the way to leadership better.
